REFASH x TWOOAK
BLISTER COLLECTION
REFASH is an advocate location for TWOOAK’s Project 2x2. Project 2x2 is a recycling initiative started by TWOOAK and Tay Paper Recycling to encourage Singaporeans to recycle their used contact lens blisters instead of throwing them away. REFASH customers can now collect and recycle their used contact lens blisters at REFASH.

REFASH x GENECO
CNY Red Packet Recycling Project
For the last four years, REFASH has collaborated with Geneco, Singapore’s foremost electricity provider and services company, to promote sustainable practices during the Chinese New Year festivities. Throughout a three-month period annually, dedicated recycling boxes were stationed at REFASH stores, offering customers a convenient way to recycle their used red packets.

BRING YOUR OWN BAG
Geneco has generously sponsored 1300 reusable tote bags, which were distributed to all REFASH outlets. Geneco customers, who thrifted at REFASH outlets and chose to bring their own bags over plastic bags, received a free Geneco tote bag, as well as, $0.10 off their total bill.

Plant-A-Tree Initiative
REFASH was invited to Geneco's inaugural Plant-A-Tree initiative in light of Earth Day 2021. Many like-minded corporations participated in the event including: Cultivate Central, Green Nudge, Repair Kopitiam, ComCrop, The Food Bank Singapore and Standard Chartered Bank.
REFASH x SUSGAIN
Plant-A-Tree Initiative
In partnership with SUSGAIN, REFASH customers can now plant a tree for free when they spend $30 in a single receipt at any REFASH store. We will be part of the initiative to support the Eden Reforestation Projects in Biak Island, Indonesia to plant, restore, replant and protect mangrove trees.

REFASH BYOB Campaign
Plastic bags are detrimental to the environment and REFASH aims to encourage more Singaporeans to go plastic free. Customers at our retail outlets who opt for plastic bags will be charged $0.20. REFASH aims to completely remove plastic bags by 2023.

Switching to Biodegradable Poly Mailers
REFASH will be switching to more eco-friendly and biodegradable poly mailers from April 2022. Moreover, we have started to switch out poly mailers for reusable bags instead when dispatching larger online orders.

Offering the option of Reusable Packaging
While REFASH has been using sustainable biodegradable poly mailers, we've partnered with PACT, headed by the Market Transformation team of WWF Singapore, to offer reusable packaging to further combat packaging waste. For more information on how to opt for reusable packaging, click here.
